- Stay out of the sun using sunscreen, hats, and cover-ups for about 4 weeks. This is not the time to get a tan or risk a sunburn.
- Shave, but don’t wax.
How long does laser hair removal take?
Since everyone’s body and hair is different, each person’s experience with laser hair removal with varies slightly. For example, underarms are a smaller surface area, so they require shorter session times than full legs.

After your laser hair removal treatment
We want you to safely enjoy your time between sessions! A few ideas for you on how to take care of yourself (and your laser-treated areas):
- Use sunscreen and avoid tanning. Your skin is more vulnerable during treatments.
- You can shave (it does take several sessions for permanent removal) but don’t wax, tweeze, pluck, or thread.
- Stay away from scents. This includes lotions, creams, and perfumes.
- Don’t take hot showers or use saunas.
